Summer Concerts

For me, there is nothing better than great weather and a little live music. 

I will admit that I also enjoy an adult beverage while enjoying great weather and live music, but that's neither here nor there. 

So far this summer, I have been to a couple of great concerts. Great people, great weather, great music. Can't ask for much more than that! 

I would also like to point out that I think I could be a photographer for Rolling Stone with some of these pictures :)

Wilco at the Kane County Cougars Stadium 

They had these crazy hanker-chief type things hanging down onto the stage- it looked awesome later on with the lights from the show 

Then they had an all out fireworks show -- it looked crazy afterwards with all the smoke

Wilco was on a Sunday night. The Friday and Saturday before, I made my way up North to Wisconsin to see Dave Matthews Band at Alpine Valley

And then a little Steve Miller Band at Naperville's Rib Fest

Lately....

So my sister has a subscription to Netflix and lately, I have been watching season after season of amaaaazing shows.

I recently finished all the Breaking Bad seasons- just in time for Season 5 to start! And after I finished them, I was definitely feeling a little withdrawal....

I discovered the show Damages and I am seriously addicted. Besides wanting to be Rose Byrne (she's gorgeous and wears gorgeous clothes in the show!) the show makes me want to be a lawyer. Or Glenn Close's sidekick- either/or.

Gleen Close is a little bit evil in the show, not gonna lie, but I can't stop watching. The fifth and final season is gearing up to air in the fall and there's four seasons of it on Netflix to watch. It's the perfect fix for during the week, when I'm waiting for the new episode of Breaking Bad!

Cabo San Lucas Pt 1

I know it has been waaaaay too long since I have updated anything on here, but I figured I should start with my fabulous Mexican vacation from June. Our vacation was beyond amazing. It's been more than a little rough getting back in the swing of things. The past couple of weeks have been busy, stressful and depressing.... a girls gotta have something to look forward to and now that the vacation is over, I need to book a trip to someplace else soon!

We took a walk (the one walk) down the beach to go into town to visit a local establishment. We saw some pretttty interesting things on that walk. Including this awesomely colorful boat thing. 

An ice cold bucket of Tekate at the establishment we ventured to. There may or may not have been a 'booty shakin'' contest while we were there. It made for an interesting lunch with the fam.
