I don't know if you've been able to tell, but since moving into an apartment, I have become a little more than obsessed with home goods and decorating. Currently obsessed with the color mint green and decorating with it any way I can.

I currently have carpet. But one day I will have painted floors like this. 

Hair

A little while ago, Mama, sister and I went to go see the local production of Hair.

I have loved the opening song, Aquarius, ever since we had to choreograph a dance to it at arts camp when I was little.

Moving on, I loved Hair. A bit risque, even for now, but the local production was the bomb dot com. And as weird as it is, I'm more than a little obsessed with the Black Boys/White Boys songs.

Lyrics include:

"Black boys are delicious"

"Black boys are nutritious"

"White boys are so pretty"

"White boys are so lovely, beautiful as girls"

So risque. And so awesome. 

And just look at the pictures of the theater it was in! GORGEOUS.

Sunday Funday

I spent last weekend in the city havin tons of fun. Saturday included a rooftop Cubs game and Sunday Funday included a deeeelicious brunch at the Bongo room. Seriously the best food I have ever eaten. I had white chocolate/caramel pretzel pancakes and house potatoes and bacon. (I love mixing the sweet and savory). 

I tasted corn/cranberry pancakes that were also phenom. 

If you make it to Chicago, or if you live there, you have to make a trip there!

Throw Pillows

Next weekend, the roomie and I are having a little housewarming at the new apartment. And I am trying to tie up all the loose ends and finishing touches of decorating.

One of my favorite things to buy and look at online are throw pillows. They can easily make (or break) your bedroom decor and I'm having a hard time picking out some for my room.

Alas, the hunt is on for some awesome fabric to make my own. Anyone have any good resources of places to find awesome fabric?!

I know I'm a little late to this game but I seriously have been considering dying my hair pink. 

Ok, I use the term "seriously" very loosely.

I would never ever dye my hair pink.

But I have been thinking about it lately.

And trying to think of a fun way to do it temporarily because it would not fly at work. 

Also, I don't want it to turn out like Amanda Bynes' pink hair. Not. A. Fan.
