New Years Eve with the family entails LOTS of fun drinks to sample. Apparently it's a tradition to take a shot of Patron at midnight to signify the beginning of the new year. And we have been loving caramel cider from starbucks mixed with some whiskey. Pinky promise we're not alcoholics, we just like to party (just wait until you hear the rest of our NYE plans!!)
Daddio made up some homemade salsa, queso dip and fajitas for a fun appetizer/dinner extravaganza
Plans for the evening include watching Gwenyth Paltrow singing with Jay Z and Coldplay, watching the first episode of Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Wire. The sis and I have plans to have a TV on DVD marathon tomorrow, so we're picking which show we're gonna watch. Also, the fam is gonna play Clue (we like board games)
